Well that's some pretty good detailed work with a toothpick! Compare to the tutorials you were inspired from I think yours looks better (and they used brushes, didn't they?)! *3*
It's almost unthinkable to not have any nail polish remover...but I also didn't have an nail polisher remover until a few days ago...XD I usually rub mine off in the shower.
Well, certainly not as limited as my options for nail polish... aside from some nail stickers I got mostly just for jewelry (because they're so small! :D), the only color I recall having right now is a pearly white. And I haven't even used it once since I got it ._. It's been quite I while since I've painted my nails.
Maybe I've got a bottle of clear coat somewhere... can't remember if it got old and I threw it out. Then again, it'd be old now if I still had it ._. Sorry for rambling on a bit. But hey, if you've got the polish, use it before it gets old, am I right? :)

How cute! :D And they're all sparkly too... kind of like real watermelon? I guess? Watermelon does have that texture to it...
Yeah, if you had a darker green, you could leave the lighter green on, and just paint the darker one around the edges, leaving the little light green border in. Still, the way it is now is cute too ^_^
So cuutee~! X3 Did you use the finger nail art penning instruments or whatever you call them...the nail art brushes...?
And I usually leave a messy finish and then clean off the excess, too! My friends are always like 'Omigosh! How'd you make it so clean'...And I just laugh and tell them 'I just painted me whole finger!' :D
