Maybe that new friend was put into your life to make up for the fact that you lost your job, or to let you know that there is still happiness left in the world. I am sorry that christmas won't be that great for you, but to go on and say you guys are unloved? What's that all about? Of course you're loved. Christmas is pretty depressin I'll admit, but its not the end of the world. Just be grateful that you're family is still with you.

Haha, that's funny about your new friend. When I was at film school there was another person named...my actual name. We were the same height, age, both had brown hair and blue eyes, and we both dressed as '30s gangsters for a party. Both writers/directors. The difference was the other "Sinny" was a British guy.
