Aw, but that's why we love Kannagi! He's actually surprisingly...stupid...when it comes down to things xD But I think around Hinohara and the others, he's actually able to relax and be himself for a change. Sure, he could do that around some of his Zokushou (at least from what we saw), but around most people, he was Kanangi-sama of the Twelve Shinshou...he wasn't allowed to be anything but high and mighty.
