*gasp* XD; I'm not surprised actually, not many people I talk to do actually know it :P Watch it if you like, but I'll tell you know, the first episode won't make sense until WAY later (or even the end of Baccano!.) ^^; So you really need to keep watching after it... It's like that for most episodes actually :P You don't get it until either the next episode or later... But it's still pretty good ^^

Yeah, the theme of this anime looks interesting as well the action they throw you at the beginning.

This anime actually reminds me on something... Um,hmm...Mhmm... No, I can't remember.xD It is either Starrk and his wolves and also some movies that had similar theme with this.

Toboe, is a guy. Tsume is really protective over him. There is a girl but she doesn't really show up until later on.

Yay, love Wolf's Rain. Your right about it being confusing. It happens a few times however that is what keeps you watching. My favorite wolf was Tsume.
