LOL. I think this is definitely geared more towards the female audience, even though I didn't really see a male harem going on like it says in the theme... I think that was said because all of her guardians are male. xDD I'll find out when I get to that part in the show!
And yeah, I liked the fact that it was similar to Sailor Moon, I just didn't like how high the girl's voice was. >_<
The first episode doesn't give you nearly as much insight as to what the whole anime is about as the plot summary does, so I am more interested in it after looking that up. ^^ Definitely check it out and let me know what you think!

Yeah,sometimes in animes I too think that some features are to high or similar to one of the characters.Like the example you gave.
