the last update it was chapter 22... I hope you enjoy the anime (but I seriously enjoy more the manga cause the anime is already done). Read the manga :) you find more funny things and a new characters there ;)
I thought the same thing but their romance is kind of funny and you can tell that Livi (the kid) is not a child in mind, he acts like an adult :). I suggest you read the manga as well
