Exactly. I tend to get really upset over little comments people will make, but then I see something really hateful and I realize that the other comments weren't that bad and I was just overreacting.
I wasn't sure where you were going with this, but you made a good point with a good example. Sometimes there are just things people say that just hurt a tad, but then you get over it, especially when you see those kinds of comments.
Hateful comments like that are just completely worthless. I've never really received any sort of negative comment in particular, but I've seen so many. It just makes me confused as to why they thought people would care...
hm somehow i get that same problem on the critics and junk. This actually shows me most people got to deal with that kind of stuff. People are cruel and don't know when to shut up but its up to the person themselves to continue on and prove those people wrong because if you stop or let that comment really effect you you already let them win.

I have had so many problems with that people have been taking my art work off DA and putting it on tumbler and making fun of it!
