Ah, something like this happened...sorta...But I didn't have any viruses, just a battery malfunction...and my computer formatted itself and lost it's operating system...'orz
Yes, I agree, back up files!...although sometimes it's hard going that route. I had an 8 GB flashdrive which was quickly filled by just the frames for my animation project...;3;
Get an extra hardrive!
But it's REALLY good that nothing that happened! But I'm sorta relieved to hear you went through the same pains I did...and my mom was saying how weird I was for doing it...>3> If she had several important files and an operating system that she needed everyday I think she'd be upset, too.
