Well you had to get that goofiness from somewhere. =P The day I see my parents using a service like FaceBook, is the day I'll probably fall over in shock.

My mom uses lol, but she's not a grammar queen. =P That conversation with her was fun to read. No wonder you're so goofy! XD

I think she's every bit as whacky as you are. =P Which of course is just freakin hilarious. My parents don't really used the net much (I do get text messages), but they're close and I enjoy visiting them to see what's up.

Hah, I can see where you get your passion for good grammar. It's good to see that you and your mom have a great relationship, I know my mom and I do. Even though she questions all of my life choices and how I conduct myself, she still loves me without a doubt.

Although my mom uses Facebook more to spy on me than to actually communicate ._.

Since I don't get along with my mom at all, I'm always happy to see people that do. ^_^ And seeing how much the two of you are alike makes me laugh and smile at the same time.

But of course this is the person that would raise Allamorph. I'd expect no less. XD Funny how many of our mothers seem rather similar.

Your mum reminds me a lot of mine! She seems very cool. It's great to have a mother that actually isn't too out of touch with things.

Unfortunately my mother is just plain sick - she says the most inappropriate things at the dinner table these days. I tell her she's just going senile early and she says this is an excuse for her to say gross things even more. Ugh. >_>;

Reading that makes me want to meet your mom. XD Mine is a bit wacky too, though she doesn't use the Internet (finds it aggravating) so it's always conversations on the phone. Heh.

Haha, I do the switching accents/goofy voices thing all the time with my siblings. Never really engaged in online conversations with my parents, though, because I see them just about every day, haha. My mom is not one for Internet interaction, though. She has a rather low opinion of many people online lol. But she is also quite silly, which is where I get it from. :D

My mom uses "lol" when texting me, even though I will type out everything perfectly with capitals and punctuation and semicolons... I am the only nineteen-year-old to put a semi-colon in a text message while my mom, English Language Usage Patrol Officer, has a signature on her messages that say "CMM Mom"--"Cash Money Millionaire Mom".

I think they do what they do just to irritate us. =3=
