I guess they really upset you. -_- I think TwistedCyberChick makes a good point and yet at the same time, I get the feeling that you're not like that. I feel that what really upsets you (correct me if I'm wrong) is the incorrect perception that you are arrogant. I say incorrect since I have never gotten that impression from you.

Other than to perhaps get it out of your system with these posts. I think it's best to just put it behind you and move on. *gets the feeling that you will and wonders if the next post is just that* >_> I started with the oldest and read up instead of the other way around... so we'll see.

Uh, no, you were more than clear. For someone to want to outdo you, this means you have, at one point, done something that showcased your knowledge of grammar and English.

You're the moderator of Anthology so really, that's a given. People post wanting feedback so this means you have given someone feedback. The line of reasoning for this is easy to follow.

Someone wanted feedback (or perhaps you gave it in the form of a joke in another thread). Someone else came along and corrected you only they were incorrect. Seriously, I got that the first time.

So why repeat the obvious in my comment? I moved to my thoughts on it instead since you don't need me stating the obvious chain of events. =P

I say this hoping you'll take it with a grain of salt. I know it's extremely tempting, but even when ranting or replying to said ass, beware of sounding overly full of yourself. You've proven your abilities time and again, and no one with a sound mind would question what you can do. I for one believe you are extremely intelligent and skilled in what you do. Still, I would personally recommend not slipping into a realm related to pompous assery, namely condescending arrogance. It is so hard to resist that tendency, especially when faced with someone who obviously is truly full of himself. You want to throw it in his face and grind him to nothing, I understand. But to actually prove that person wrong, you can't simply show you know grammar and story-telling better than he does. You also must prove him wrong regarding his accusation of your supposed arrogance. That was the reason behind his post, no? to slam the "arrogant" guy? Don't be that guy. Don't turn into that guy. 'Cause in reality...nobody likes that guy. =(
