Defense post: I still think they could have toned that back a bit. :p However, I still actually read it and do agree with the general principle of the article. I just found wading through the style of writing and expression... painfully annoying.
I'm sure I'll get better at looking beyond that, at least I hope I do. o_O

Yes, exactly. No, it is people's own fault if they truly think that every word of news someone tells them is absolute fact. I try to be more cautious these days about things I may hear on the news, especially when it comes to politics.
The thing about the feature with the Ad Link, is I'm a business major so I can see how Adam is trying to give members features that will not only appeal, but make them feel more involved in the site. However, I still think the placement needs works, but you know this already.
Oh and *adds mentioned books to her list of things to read* ^_^
