Yay! New avatar! ..... Wait, that means you'll snatch people here too! O_O Hehe, kidding! :p Interesting format for your post.

Anyway, I'm off! Catch you later oh snatching Basement Cat!

And yes I didn't really feel like responding. >_> I hate sounding like a parrot and repeating other people. XP

I'd say that's true for almost any work place. Yeah, if you show people you're trying, they tend to be more lenient. I know that from working a parking ticket seller job at the state fair last year. Sometimes we don't have enough people, and sometimes we don't have the right amount of change, and sometimes people are impatient jerks... and other times they're not.

I guess it also depends on the people. *shrugs* Oh well, work is still work in the end, no?

Ah being a waitress can be hard and tiring but it can also be quite fun!
I was one for almost a year and as you said, being nice and helping when they asked can really make costumers to come back more often and tell others to come and if they see that your working hard some can give you really good tips! =D

SCHWING – Still working on Becky's prompt from Sunday. I get about an hour-ish a day, so maybe if I can get stuff done tomorrow before eleven I can spend about three or four on it and see if that wraps it up.

Ah, same here. Same here. XD

Climate control is nice. It becomes a necessity the more you use it. My neighborhood becomes very sticky and humid, so I adore our A/C system.

    Ah, Basement Cat. ^_^

It is hard being the "face" of the establishment. One little slip and immdeiately all the other employees look bad. -_-' Customers can be a real pain, but if repeat customers notice how hard you work, things will become easier... even if they are a little irritating at first.

    Exercise... naa...

I hope you do well on the prompt!

Your title makes you look like your being sneaky! And since you shamelessly stole someone’s format it would seem that you are! :p

Anyway, I’m glad you have an air unit in your room now. o_O It’s not good to be without good ventilation. Oh Basement Cat! ^_^ Hehe.

I’m pleased to hear that work is going well and that you’ve tied jogging into it so you can stay in shape.

I’m already done with the prompt but my contribution was on the small side. Also, I’m looking forward to seeing what you did with the history. I’ve seen the chat logs and the notes Beth wrote up. ^_^

You giving furtive looks? >_> Yeah that’s so NOT creepy at all.

Goodness, stealing someone’s format… for shame. :p Not really.

How’d you end up in a room with no circulation in the first place? Well regardless, good to have it then, you don’t want to pass out in front of your computer after all.

I was just noticing that you changed your avatar. The epidemic of Basement Cat continues! Now you’ll be snatching people at theO as well.

Yeah, endless apologies aren’t anywhere as good as simply doing your best to set things right.

Well that’s one way to get in shape.

Prompt? Well have fun with that.

Oh yeah, you do need to get that history ready so I can insert it into the first post. Perhaps you can do as Beth suggests and break it into sections. So… stop being lazy! :p

    Anyway, catch you later.

As a waiter (or waitress), I think profuse apologizing only gets you so far before it borders on obsequious groveling.

Heh, have you ever watched John Cleese's How to Irritate People? He does a groveling waiter sketch in it that's pretty funny.

Ah yes, exercise. We all need some of that. I can't really run though, so I prefer to walk, but what works for you is good.

Heh, 50 lashes with a wet noodle for stealing Mimmi's post style. =P

One: Stealing formats is fun! >_> *considers it*

Two: Hurray for temperature control! Now if only I could figure out how to block out some of the AC, my room is always too cold!

Three: I adore that avatar it’s so hilarious! Basement Cat!

Four: ^_^ Sounds like you had a busy day and I agree, endless apologies do get tiresome.

Five: Getting in shape are you? :p That’s always a good idea.

Six: Oh! So that’s the prompt you were referring too. And yes, you do need to work on that history! You could always separate the Vampire Wars into a section of its own. That way we could get some of it up in the backstage.

    Seven: :p

In the name of the tune I will punish you!
