I never read such a long rant about someone experiencing a new candy. You're the first. I must admit, it made me want to taste it so bad now. I like sour stuff. Blah, why don't I live USA?

Oh my, what sour candy has done to my taste buds over the years...
I always liked ShockTarts. Not really sour, but it had this nice tang to it. I think it's called Shockers now, though.
I believe I've had sour Starbursts... maybe. Well, I'll just have to pick some up soon.
Especially after reading about the Green Apple. Oh goodness, YES.
I, however, am a sour fan. Warheads are my absolute favorite for sour too, but I have tried the Starburst varieties. It's like it's tingling or something in my mouth and the flavor doesn't just disappear, but gracefully fades.
What doesn't help is that my childhood candy consisted of Skittles, PopRocks and Warheads. Good times.
