Yes you are right, Akatsuki is using him. And I think Sasuke knows he's being used, but he doesn't care as long as he can get his revenge he's fine with it. T__T Stupid, and no wonder why too. I haven't noticed any psychologist in the manga. He reminds me a little of Zero (Vampire Knight), I wonder what Sasuke would do when he has killed that old geezer.
It's obvious he fell out of tree somewhere and got lost.

Sasuke is not working for Akatsuki, he think he is using akatsuki for his own gain if read pay attention no offense but it is akatsuki who is using him. He can barely stay alive with all his raging hormones.
