Akatsuki School: Tobi's Field Trip

Tobi jumped from the train. Deidara tried to resist Tobi’s pull. However, he was dragged into Tobi’s idea anyway. Tobi landed safely in the grass, but Deidara fell flat and tumbled into the dirt as Tobi watched the train leave. “Sempai, are you okay?” Tobi said looking at Deidara.

“Tobi, what did you just do?!” Deidara said rising from the dirt.

“Tobi’s going to see the animals, so Tobi jumped off the train ride,” Tobi said proud of himself.

“Why did you drag me into this?!” Deidara said shaking Tobi violently.

Tobi was in shock after the shaking and couldn’t answer. Deidara threw him aside and ran as fast as he could to catch up with the moving train, but was unable to. “Sasori-no-Danna! Zetsu! Help me! Don’t leave me here with Tobi!” Deidara called after the train.

Amazingly, Sasori, who was asleep, heard Deidara’s call. He awoke, looked to Zetsu, and then looked to Deidara and Tobi’s seat, yet he noticed they weren’t there. “Hey, Zetsu? Where’d the brats go?”

Zetsu was staring outside the other opening exit and said, “What are you talking about?”

Sasori turned Zetsu’s head to where he was facing. “Oh, now I see your point.”

“I thought I heard that blonde brat call for us while I was sleeping,” Sasori whispered, so Konan wouldn’t get mad at them.

Sasori stood up and checked what Konan was doing… She was asleep (so much for being a good teacher and supervisor).

Sasori then signaled Zetsu that it was okay for them to move out. Sasori transformed into a bee and landed himself on the flower that was picked and placed in Zetsu’s green hair. Zetsu then closed the Venus flytrap and slowly disappeared from the seat, careful not to wake up Ms. Konan.

Zetsu rematerialized close to where Tobi and Deidara were, yet they weren’t close enough to spot them. He opened his flytrap once more and Sasori steadily flew out. Sasori then returned to his human form, yet he lied on the grass tired and almost suffocated. “God! How do you survive when that thing is closed?!” Sasori coughed.

“Easy, photosynthesis!” Zetsu gleaned.

“Of course…” Sasori said looking away, “Come on, let’s go find those brats and bring them back to the train.”
