Akatsuki School: Tobi's Field Trip

Everyone went back to the gate. They entered the gate with the animals. First, Hidan, Kakuzu, and the elephant came in. The elephant was struggling and Kakuzu was tempted to steal its heart and keep it. Hidan stood by Sakura, Principal Pein, and Konan while Kakuzu went to set the animal away from the gate. He set the animal near the water, the animal suddenly became calm after not being bound anymore, and the elephant then walked into the water and took a bath.

Tobi then came running in hoping to see his sempai, but realized he wasn’t there yet. Sasori then came in dragging his two puppets with the zebras and was crying over the lost creations. Sasori took the puppets and zebras far away from the gate, and released his chakra strings. The puppets fell to the ground, and the zebras galloped away. The puppets were a wreck. They were stepped on and broken. One even smelled like zebra butt.

Deidara and Zetsu soon came afterward and Tobi tackled Deidara on the way in. Tobi helped Deidara and Zetsu with the giraffes and cut the vine rope. The giraffes then ran off to the trees and began eating the hay hanging from them. Sasori then dragged Deidara over to where his puppets were and told Deidara to destroy them. Deidara was puzzled because Sasori would never do this to his creations, but he didn’t argue. He called his clay bird over that disappeared in the trees and told it to sit on the puppets. The clay bird did so.

Before detonating the bird though, Itachi and Kisame came in with the two lions in the genjutsu trance. Kisame and Itachi set the lions on two sun bathing rocks and left. Then the farthest they could manage, Itachi released his genjutsu. “What are you doing?” Sakura asked approaching Deidara and Sasori.

“I’m about ready to explode Danna’s puppets,” Deidara said.

“What type of bomb do you have in that bird though?” Sakura asked with interest.

“It’s a C2 bomb.”

“Wouldn’t that harm the others, including yourself, and the animals?” Sakura questioned.

“I suppose so…”

“Here, I’ll make it so it won’t harm anyone, but you still see the awesome explosion,” she said kindly.

Sakura formed some hand signs and then touched Deidara’s clay bird. She stepped back and a defense shield formed around the clay sculpture and puppets. “This shield will keep attacks in without breaking itself. It will only collapse and disappear when I release it or when I run out of chakra,” Sakura said as Deidara approached it, “Go ahead. Try it out.”
