Well I don't know actually about scanning everyday xD Most especially because you have to scan your computer. You can scan before you defrag your computer. Once a week :D
Sometimes, you'll be able to see the virus's program when you go to Add or Remove Programs. But sometimes it hides very well. System restore is pretty awesome too. <3 I've used it once, but when I did I was like, "What if my computer was never working correctly and everything vanishes?!" //unnecessary angst - lol

Viruses are so annoying. We have a virus scan on ours, but sometimes it doesn't work for whatever reason. I remember I had to manually clean out a file in the C drive when we had a massive trojan horse. So friggin annoying. I thought I felt smart until my mom completely cleaned the whole computer, doing techie stuff with techie magic (she's super smart when it comes to technology and electronics). All I know how to do is system restore. *feels dumb*
wtf?! thats the same virus that hit me. D: what i did was turn off my internet and turn on safe mode to check some stuff but since i wasn't sure of the .exe files i restored my system to the previous day. it worked. :D
glad you were able to kill them. i think your awesome level increased ten fold. i'll never catch up. :0
I used bleeping computer on my last bad virus infection. *nods* Well, I had to go on it using my mom's laptop...since I couldn't do a single thing on my computer. It was terrible lol. I have avast, but a really good virus/malware-ridding program that I use is called Spybot-Search & Destroy. I highly recommend it! I tried that one you mentioned that BC suggests...it worked, but I prefer spybot lol.
Congrats though! That's awesome!! :] Same here. Usually my brother D takes care of all these things, but I couldn't wait that last time...I felt just as proud as you do now. XD I hope it goes away for good!!

I still don't know how to remove viruses XD I only scan then let my anti-virus program kill then.
