I actually didn't know that renders were posted on websites like that. Thank you so much for the link! I hope to improve with my extracting, but I will not hesitate to use renders if the situation requires it. ^^
I use renders all the time, as I don't have the pen tool because I have Elements, so I would whole-heartedly agree with this post:D There are some gorgeous anime renders out there~!
Lol I hope people don't see this as a it's ok to not know to extract and to only rely on renders. Being able to extract your own stuff is probably the best thing as you have the freedom to actually pick the scan you want to use.
But yeah, wallers should only use renders from renderers that are trustworthy in terms of quality. I remember having deleted stuff at Minitokyo made from renders that were horribly extracted. >:
Putting your talent to even more use by giving advice to beginner wallers and teaching people the basics huh? Awesome. Great idea Orichan. You'll make a badass teacher. Especially since you know so much on the subject. :)

The render is actually the smallest part in a wall. The most important are: color scheme, lighting, typography use, bg blending and overall quality.
The render is just a small part from the walling creation.
Take my walls for example: this or this, the render isn't mine, but the walls don't look as if I put no effort in them because it's what you create around the render which truly matters.
Meeeples......Sometimes, I do feel like people will think of me as a noob or something if I use someone's render....Because it makes me feel like the work isn't all mine. Or more like, people would think that I didn't work my hardest on it. And I know my extractions aren't perfect, but I am practicing, and I am trying to improve. But extracting with the eraser isn't always an easy task o3o
But thank you for this~ I really appreciate it, because it makes me feel better about using renders that I didn't extract o3o;
You know, i'm never shy about useing renders like this, it's just a couple of things for me:
1: I lost links for forget to link, cause of the stupid internet I have O.o
2: I never find any good sites on my oO this will be a big help, thank you

My problem is that I actually can't use png on my kind of photoshop software... :( So, yeah, I admit it, when I can't use the render, I use the eraser which works like the magic wand (I think) a lot. But I don't like the effect it gives on the lineart so I finish it most of the time with the classic eraser...
