Where do you see MyOtaku.com 10 years from now and how is its relation to Theotaku.com?
It's more likely the period in your user name that's doing it. Since the profile pages are normally at http://name.theotaku.com it makes the browser try to find a site with the URL http://xx9.tailed%3anekoxx which obviously doesn't exist. Though even using %3e (the URL code for a period) instead, it can't find the page. My guess is that the site doesn't know how to properly handle a period in the user name since it was originally set up to use the URL http://www.theotaku.com/portfolio/name for profiles, where this wouldn't have been a problem.
This sort of thing happens to be one of the reasons I don't like using subdirectories for profile pages.
I still would like an easy way to report bugs. Like I just found a person that I had favorited updated without it appearing on my backpage.
I also agree with the staffing contact page and being able to see the post. People are wondering about the fate of MyO. An 'Idoits-Guide' to using VV might helpful. (I had to be told how put a new link in a post. And people are wondering why the time on the site isn't changing with their clocks.)
Is there any way that we can move the comment box around? It's difficult writing a comment for posts when you can't see it. I have a bad memory so I never remember what I wanted to comment on
And sorry, but my portfolio link still doesn't work TT__TT. Others can't reach my portfolio page either. My friend wonders if it's because of the semicolon in my username. o_0? So no one's able to reach my guestbook, portfolio, or jump to my page. I'd greatly appreciate it if that could be fixed, thanx Adam.
How about this... Can updates from MyO be shown in TheO? fitting old tech with new ones is tough, but how about new tech with old tech? Can it be done here?
How about guidelines for submissions? Like plagiarism? I'm assuming it's not allowed but still, clearly defining that would probably help. ^_^
Also, you need a staff page! Though I'm not sure if that would be a part of the FAQ or something else altogether. Still it would help members if they knew who to run to questions with.
It's easy for me since my roommate is a moderator over at OtakuBoards and one of her friends is as well, and I also know one of the staff here, even if I've only met her a few times.
So though I know who to bug with questions, others may not. ^_^

Well, it's not really a question, more of an observation. My friend Jessie sent me a PM the other day and I didn't know about it until Monday when she asked me at school why I hadn't replyed. When I got home that day it still said I had zero messages but when I clicked to view I had 6 new messages (and here I thought no one loved me ;-; )! So, what's going on with the messaging system. Is it a work in progress or something?
Glad to hear you're doing better. That's crazy though because just today I've been starting to feel crappy. I took some cold medicine this morning but forgot to eat breakfast so I've been high off sinus pills all day @-@
Oooh i think i'd like to know how many members theO has. Even a rough estimate would be kewl.
And i'd like to know if the business of constantly being logged out of theO when i go so someones backroom to PM them can be fixed. Other than that i have no gripes ^_^

Adding answers to the FAQ for anything and everything to do with using Worlds would probably be a good idea. It astounds me that people could be confused by such a simple interface but, from what I've seen around in posts and comments, apparently a fair number are.
Those do look like really nice scrambled eggs . . .
. . . alright, I gotta try these out some time. Or at least his "eggs on the heat, off the heat" thing. It's Gordan effin' Ramsay, he's gotta know what he's talking about.
I like the sound of building up the FAQ, though. I'll try my best to help you answer 'em, I guess.

Good to hear you're doing better.
Two things that would be beneficial to see in the FAQs:
1) More detailed instructions on embedding video content.
2) Information on why the limited selection of video embedding sources, and if there are any plans to include more sources in the future.

For some reason people can't seem to understand that.. I personally think the system for PMs here is great, so I don't see any great loss.
