I've run into viruses before myself, it's a headache sometimes, and I've used system restore too, which has helped me fix things. It is a handy feature.
I don't think I'd want to be able to save my life up to a point and go back to that point if I mess something up. Like TimberWolf says, not having that builds character.

I've never had issues with viruses... yet. >_> Since saying that means I've jinxed myself. But seriously, I'm glad you were able to get rid of it. I've helped a fair number of friends get stuff off of their computers so I know what a pain they can be. XP

I'm still running Windows 2000 so I have no such luxury. I get rid of viruses and spyware the old fashioned way. Though, on the plus side, I've gotten fairly good at it.
