I don't mind the election, since I was rooting for McCain, but I'm not a hard-core Republican. Still, I'm glad with the election.

McCain didn't cry. Palin did at the end. But you could really see the disappointment in his eyes. I felt like crying myself. Especially at the part when he said "It is not your fault I lost, it is mine." He looked like he needed a hug DX

Well, though I was hoping for McCain I don't feel any real disappointed or anything. I trust Obama will do a good job. My only concern with him is that he doesn't know war the way McCain does. Next time we have an election I will be able to vote. So he better meet my expectations during his first term or no vote for Obama. :P
Can't win them all I suppose. At least this time around if the president screws up Democrats will be the one to be blamed. Sucks being a Republican at the moment, we're not very popular ^^;;;
As long as he remains centrist, holds back on protectionism and keeps a level head in foreign policy, then I think he has the potential to be a great president.
Congrats to Obama and his supporters! And congrats to those who went out there and campaigned/worked on his behalf. You've done an excellent job and it's clearly been rewarded.
