The *as good* qualifier is what going to cut your field down. I suggest looking through your fanmanga artist for some ideas (that is if you don't want to skip sites looking for artist). Most of them should have backgrounds somewhere.

I'm trying to draw backgrounds as soft CGed like that <3
I haven't had the time to draw like that so detailed in one day though.. ;^; You could contact people at DA: muhoho-seijin, Zeiva, wen-m, hmmmmm, maybe zaphk too, there's tons of people who can draw that well with backgrounds 8D I'd recommend wen-m, muhoho-seijin, and zeiva because they are more experienced.
