I hope the dentist appointments go well. Ask lots of questions and make it worth your money!
I just went to the dentist too! (Had to flippin' wait for an hour before they took me in!!) I hate getting my teeth clean - but this last trip wasn't as bad as the ones before. I have many appointments ahead of me too (cavities filled and possibly braces! OMG)

Having been to the dentist many times over the summer, I can easily sympathize with what you're going through. We've spent a lot of dinero in that area too.
-_- Well at least your teeth will be taken care of right? It's like buying food, you can't do without it. As fun as the other stuff is... having a constant tooth ache would kind of ruin it.
