aw jeepers... i'll be interested to read your full write up on the experience. eye surgery is in my near future and i'm all sorts of bugged out by the idea of it (since i don't like the idea of people poking around in my eyes AT ALL). i'm glad things seem to be healing/progressing well. yay!

My brother got corrective eye surgery a while back when he was applying for the police academy. He's been doing fine since, so in my experience you ought to be just fine.

The closed eyes 3-4 days straight does sound pretty neat though. A story to tell, definitely.

I'm curious, did you feel more tired during those 3-4 days?

Eagerly awaiting a detailed post! :D

Good to hear that everything went well. 3-4 days? Bet you had to wear a blindfold... That certainly seemed like an interesting experience.

I'll be looking forward to the more detailed post.

That's good to hear. I'm considering the procedure myself, but my friends are likely to pull a Minority Report on me if given the chance.

If you wear an eye patch you make as many pirate jokes as you want and nobody can stop you! Or for both eyes - ninja/zen jokes.(Thats what I did when I had to wear one)

I hope you have a speedy recovery and that your Eyesight will be 100% real soon. I bet it was really tough having to be blind for 4 days straight. I don't know how I would have handled that at all.

Man, I'd go nuts if I had to keep my eyes shut that long.

How zen. I would've tried to convince people I could 'see' their energy or something with my eyes closed. Or that I could see their auric webs. *shrug* making the best of it. Audio books are a good time though :)
