Also, Attack on Titan is fantastic. Things go sideways pretty much every few episodes. Stick it out; it might be worth keeping tabs on as an anime site webmaster, as I'm pretty sure it's this season's big thing.
I'm game too. It's been a long time since we spent so much time here (despite the fact that I don't spend time in chat too often), and I've always felt that the new members of theOtaku have outnumbered the veterans in terms of activity. I think it's time that the veterans come back and have some fun, if only for a day only.
I never left, I'm always here :) I don't think the industry has changed that much - anime will always be anime, i think people have changed. I do like the idea of a chat day though, but alot of the "prominent" members nowdays just lock themselves in their own room and chat amongst themselves.
I look forward to reconnecting with people, and meeting new people because i know exactly what you mean. I miss the camaraderie as well. I hope to chat soon, im always here.

Reading old chat logs definitely brings back good memories. It also makes me realize how much I've changed since I joined... yikes.
But I think that special chat sounds like a great idea. It would be great to get caught up with some people that we haven't seen in a while, and yeah, it would be like the good ol' days. I'm game.
I want to join the chat! But it would be better it would be scheduled after 3rd of July, because my final exams are next week. I may not look like it but I am an old member who rejoined this year.
I agree that 2013 isn't really a happy year, I hope everything will great for you soon ^_^.
