The wooden ones are much better than plastic ones, though they're more difficult to find here. People just prefer the plastic kind 'cause they're easier to replace when they break *shrugs* And yes, your closet does indeed look much classier with the wooden ones.

I normally use wire ones. Had to buy plastic ones after we moved (all the clothes hangers seemed to had vanished), they sucked. Broke so easily

We got wire ones. Which is better than plastic... But, I don't know how it fares with wooden ones.
