Quickie comment: I think it would be good if we can have a Iphone wallpaper gallery (temporary at least?), just so we can see what they look like so far and also so that we can check that we're not repeating similar ideas. :S I don't personally feel as motivated to make them when I can't see the I!wallpapers myself xD.

lol after all that promoting for the fanart collab, and now Bossman wants it down? It's not a bad option, the fanartists get credited and there actually are fanartists who like their stuff on cards and walls. I'm not a big fan of the option myself, but well, it's not hated.

Maybe the past two challenges (fan collab/iphone) are a tiny little 'meh' response-wise, as compared to the previous few, but lol perhaps we just need a lil spice and prizes to excite things up?

I do think 1000 wallpapers was a bit ambitious, considering the rate at which they've been submitted.

Launching the wallpapers earlier might be a way to go, because many would actually post more by seeing how others post and seeing their own work.
I mean, it is pretty obvious how many standard wallpapers get her per day and how many did iPhones one were posted by now.

Hm, I don't think you should remove the fanart collab option completely; I think it's fun and will get more people to visit the fanart section (I, for example, went there once in a blue moon, but I started visiting it quite often even after the challenge ended).

About the butterflies...I'm sure this isn't what you had in mind, but it'd be fun to have them hidden randomly around on the site and have people find them - then you'd have them on your portfolio to show everyone how awesome you are (kinda like the trophies) and get monies for each butterfly you find But I'm really curious how it will turn out!

Just because a feature isn't being widely used doesn't automatically mean it should be abandoned, to my mind. Especially this close to the feature's launch. You've barely given it time to catch on, and you want to assess its success right away?

Heck, I don't even think you've got all the bugs worked out yet. =P

- I think you should launch them while the 1000 is in progress, not because I would like a headstart, simply because I think a couple people are confused on what these should 'look like', so if they have something to go on then the number may grow faster. ^^

Hopefully the yellow won't be too bad. Last yellow background we had started to hurt my eyes. (Thats why I prefer to have darker backgrounds on sites if there's a choice to change it) the blue and white usually doesn't bother me that much though.

- When we were you hoping to launch the site anyway? At the rate in which the submissions are going, the site might probably be launched by April or May (probably in time for your birthday). Were you hoping to launch it in a much earlier time?

- I guess the way in which the collaboration challenge managed to be beaten at a much slower speed was an indication. I myself think that the feature is nice; it's just that I couldn't see myself making any ecard or wallpaper at all for now.
