I'm anxious to see the new feature and, honestly, I think any necessary changes would be beneficial. But, hey, haters gon' hate.
What I'd like to see COME BACK is, if we wanted to search for a member, but we couldn't remember their entire s/n (curse you, random numbers!) we could type in what we COULD remember and the site would pull up all the members' names that include that snippet in it. Sometimes, I wanna find Sasuke83785792, but I can't remember the numbers, y'know? XD; So, I could type in 'Sasuke' and get a list of users with 'Sasuke' in their s/n...?
Or, do we already have this feature and I'm just a derp who can't find it to use? .__.;

The atmosphere of the recent challenges and promises of new features has really gotten me thinking about what kinds of tweaks I'd like to see on the site... so here are a couple of things I've been thinking of.
1. Tag clouds - we tag fan art when we submit it, but, as far as I'm aware, there is no visualization of the currently used tags. We have a "top categories" list - what about a "top tags" list?
2. Tag suggestions - it would be super cool if, when you typed in some tags, it would suggest possible other, related tags to use
3. Editing tags - is there currently a way to edit the existing tags on a work? Could it be beneficial to allow members (or maybe just some members, based on ranking) to edit / add tags on other members' works?
4. Medal management - some people have been very active with challenges, and so have quite a few medals on their portfolio page. It might make sense to be able to choose to show / hide these, as is optional with the gifts. Bonus points if there was some way to organize these.
5. Tags on challenges? Trying to think of ways to improve searchability.
6. Dedications - Some way to view all the works that have been dedicated to you, maybe a way to view all the things you've dedicated to others, etc. This could exist much like the "Favorites" page in the portfolio.
