he died?! oh my god... he was my hero... I now have to watch all his work again and remember what an amazing animator/director/writer he was. RIP

He was one of my favorite directors. It's really sad to see him go. ;_;
Perfect Blue and Millenium Actress are staples of my anime collection and they are 2 of my favorite titles as well. It's a shame that all the good ones go so soon, but at least we have his awesome work to reflect on his life and hard work :)
