Hmm when I use a banner (or rather a hyperlink and then an image where usually the text goes) to go to a post on my world, I can not modify the post anymore ^^

I use the JungleDisk/AWS combination to back up all my documents, pictures and incremental website/db backups of Anime Pulse. It's about $10-14 a month for 90GB or so.
Incidentally, even if your OS dies a horrible death, I think you can still access the files by slaving the drive to the master drive of another computer. Newer ones will auto-detect master/slave settings, but older ones need to change a cap on some pins in the back.

External hard drives aren't really any better than just getting another internal drive and keeping important stuff on it in case your system drive needs to be wiped and Windows re-installed. And if you've got the money, you can get two drives and set them up in RAID 1 so you always have a backup of everything on them.
T_T if indesign, photoshop and illustrator files weren't so freakin huge i WOULD be backed up like crazy but i can't ;~; jae is only backed up with schoolwork via burned CD & 1 flash drive ;A; if i lost my music rochi will crumble into ity bitty bits! and adam will have to pick them up one at a time ;~;
