Getting your tooth pulled isn't half as bad as getting a cavity filled. I had two teeth pulled when I was little because my big teeth were starting to grow in before my baby teeth were out.

Ahhh! I hate having teeth removed for any reason! I'm not even a fan of having dental work done. The dentist in my area are so bad you usually have to do the work a couple of times to get it to stay in place or they are really expensive.
Do you have someone to take you home afterwards? Don't forget to plan out any food you might need afterwards and find a nice pillow to spend some time with.
May it be less expensive than you are expecting so you can have a good recovery!
It's better you get it pulled now than later, it could've gotten worse if you've waited. I've never had a tooth pulled, I thought it'd be too painful.

Well at least you went to the dentist instead of waiting until the pain was non-stop. Though my comment on the update, even though in jest is probably true. About the pain that is. I'm sure they'll properly numb you up for the procedure though. Anyway, best of luck with that.
Dental work is the Worst, and I feel bad for you, Man. Although it does bring a smile to my face with a mental sound of cotton stuffed Adam trying to talk to SG.

That really sucks, man o_O
You have my sympathy, because I had a tooth extracted once due to an infection under it. It wasn't pleasant either because the infection was so corrosive that it nullified the anesthetic, so it was a literal pain to pull out.
I hope you experience is better, and that it doesn't end up costing you an arm or a leg or your firstborn child or whatever.

If worst comes to worst, I know a couple pretty decent dentists and stuff over here.
Though I imagine out-of-country'd cost way more than it's worth, so . . . ick
