The portfolio things would be less problems. Not so much problems to run into with work, repetitive names (how many "sakura_123" "sakura-123" and "sakuro 123" are there out there?) I don't think many people care about the yourname.theotaku.com thing. It's just not a thing you look at a lot.

I'd love to do something like that for the team. :)

This is why I don't like using subdirectories for user names. There's just too many restrictions on what characters you can use in them, compared to almost none for regular directories if you use the proper URL codes.

I say go back to /portfolio/name.

I vote for the first option, i don't mind losing the dash in my username and would much prefer to have things working 100% again on IE! I'd be interested in the post as well maybe as back up for Sabrina!

I quit using IE so I no longer have that issue. ^_^ Firefox for the win!

I think we need someone on the team whose goal it is every day is to go to the "Other" sections and compile a list of all the categories that come in for them and then every week send me an updated list.

Who would be interested here?

I'm good at that kind of stuff, being organized that is, so I'd be willing to help out with gathering information. ^_^ Especially since sending a list once a week is very doable.
