Fried oreos are pretty good. The fresher they are the better. If you leave them sit out for a little while they aren't all that appetizing. My dad makes them spurratically so here and there he just comes around the corner with a plate of them. It's only like once or twice a year, but you never know when it'll be.

The big thing that goes around here at fairs, festivals and so on are funnel cakes, not very appetizing, they look like sugar coated intestines plopped on a plate, but they are sweet and light in texture, so I can understand the lure of them.
I have a deep fryer, I'll have to whip up some of them Oreos myself one of these days.

lol, there was fried everything when I went to the L.A. County Fair a couple of years back. Didn't try anything like a fried Oreo, though. :X
