I have no idea to do that, would you mind explaining it? I just tried using the pen tool but I only saw the options 'free transform path' and 'stroke path'.

Hm.. do you know how to use pentool for extraction? It makes very neat extraction.

For this wally I mainly used the magnetic lasso tool to get the background out. But I also used the eraser :) It's what I usually do with all my wallpapers, I don't know a different method ^^

Thanks dear! I only started changing colors on images so much after I made your wally trying that out for the first time :P I use photoshop - I play around a lot with layer mode, sizes & rotation of images and for the text the layer effects. I usually end up with a lot of layers haha ^__^

Thanks a lot Blue Latte! I try to change more than just colors and composition, I'm really happy you pointed that out. It's so much fun trying to get every image fit together and I always have tons of layers :P I also play around a lot with the "layer mode", sizes of images and rotating them.

This looks amazing. I really love the background. I can see you did quite lot of effort making this wallpaper. <3 I'm just glad to see when someone put effort into their work since lately, I've been seeing people crop scans into wallpaper size, submit them, and call them wallpapers. ^^"
