Lol, no I didn't I don't know alot of stuff...my brother told me to download a couple of brushes...so I did(I sent the links to the creators) and just merged some layers on photoshop...
Aha. Thank you though I think I tried to many risky techniques on it. Came out kind of cluttered. I still think yours is beautiful though and has a good chance of winning. Luici was right, it is very professional looking. You did a fantastic job. Did you make the checkered pattern from scratch?
Very nice! I'm glad you are working through your block. There are going to be a lot of wallpapers with this scan incoming soon. xD I'm working on one too. All of the entries are pretty so far!
