Thanks! :) I used GIMP, a freely distributed program that's somewhat similar to photoshop.
GIMP's a little confusing at first (I still get confused. xD), so using www.picnik.com is easy for beginners to add text and effects. :)

awesome picture. what program do you use to do the editing and adding text? i mostly do video work as a hobby, but ive been looking into picture work...
