Actually, its not tiny bit. The width of the original BG was 1200 and your wall is 1600... Resizing it to more 100 pixels can make a big difference. But its good that pixels were not shown.... 1200 to 1600 is great big difference.
I think the textures helped in hiding those unnecessary (and unwanted) pixels.
Nice vector and BG combination. I just felt bad that the BG you used is too small and its blurry when viewed in full size. Good thing the textures make up for it. Though the Toshiro vector stands out too much that it seems he's not connected with the BG in some parts.
Yet, another amazing job. And its good that you even put credit to Alenas! :D

But it does look blurry in it's full size, I didn't even notice that last night! DX
