You're not the only one who's been a fan of Pokemon since the beginning over 10+ years ago :/
For a few of the Pokemon, illustrations are already available. I found them via Bulbapedia.

phantom, i've been a fan of pokemon ever since the red and blue version came in game boy, and i must say... they're getting out of ideas, putting that aside, where are you getting the pics? so far i have only see sprites of the new gen
