I say its an it. And that picture of it holding a blanket doesn't clarify anything - there'd be something showing if it was a girl, and it is holding blankie to it's chest due to it's shy character (most likely). c:

Crona's a girl. It was pretty much confirmed in the manga when there was a picture of her naked holding a blanket to her chest... (think miley cyrus's scandalous photo)
