This is "Princess Tutu". Despite the title, it's actually quite a layered plot. You just have to get through the first 4 or 5 episodes, it gets better after that. And it will really confuse in the beginning, but it's supposed to. Um.... actually, I'm not positive which episode this is. ^^' All episodes start with a storybook introduction. But you should check it out. Just to tell you (if the title or slippers didn't give it away) it has a lot of ballet in it. Check this out, if your interested. I don't think it gives too much away, and it's the reason I started watching it.

If you do rent it or whatever, make sure to watch the Special Features. The commentaries, bloopers(XD), and Studio features are pretty good.

It's one of mine too. You wouldn't know it from the title, but it's actually one of the more intelligent/complex animes out there. I'm glad you like it.

Thankyou. THe show takes a while to get the hang of, but when it's finished it all makes perfect sense. And they worked very hard on it. Alot of research. It's pretty good.
