LOL...trust me...I was only suggesting those things cuz you said something was missing. I was almost 95% sure that you had TRIED those techniques! LOL...it's like me...

um..i tried hueing. but instead the shadings look all wrong and i wanted the red to stand out and contrast from the blue
it's 3d looking because i repainted the whole thing with deeper shade and more strong lightings
I like it.
The background looks pretty good. but it seems kinda weird like theres water and then shes just there. I would have put like a blue hue over her so she mightve looked like she was in the water.
How did you make her soo shiny and 3d looking?
I like the fact that she doesn't look so flat like a cut out. Nice job.
I love what you've done with this image! It feels more alive to me and fluid. She looks like she is underwather they way you did the ends of her kimono. Also, the background compliments it nicely because it doesn't overwhelm the overall piece. Very nicely done!

The only thing I could think that may be missing is like, underwater plant life...and a blue hue like bonitachicka said....
But seriously...it still looks good even without that stuff! Awesome job! ^-^
