I think the tones are perfect. It's all in the contrast. The picture of Aerith has a very warm, soft feel about it in contrast to Cloud's cold atmosphere. It feels like symbolism to me. Without warmth, one is dead, physically and spiritually. Anywho, that's what it feels like to me. It's very nice...yesyes, great job!

your wallpaper is alright, i'd suggest you change the color tone of Cloud's face though...and also, That's not Aeris/Aerith...(just to let you in)
