OK, so far so good! It's pretty good for your first wallpaper, one can tell you've an eye for combining things (gotta love the fact that you didn't slap a picture onto a plain background *coughlikesomen00bsdocough* and actually bothered to do a little blending)!
Though, there are some quality issues. I imagine the picture was small, but you should be careful when enlarging images, they tend to look pixelated and low quality. It's not too noticeable here, it just looks like the pic is too sharp. Remember, filters are your friends ^_^
And I also love the quote, it's very appropriate for the theme
Overall, it's a solid start. You might want to look out for some things, but you're on the right track! Keep it up! ^_^
