I was lucky enough to find it online a month or so ago and re-watch it. It did the same thing to me- it's all I could think about as I fell asleep that night. It's actually inspired me to get a tattoo.
All I could imagine when I made this was at the end, when Kenshin and Kaoru are reunited under the blossoms.

This wallpaper is beautiful. You've set a very dramatic tone here, which matches the dramatic tone that the Rurouni Kenshin OVA had. The cherry blossom trees at the back truly helped make this work wonderful. Great job!
And yeah, the OVA really made me cry a lot (as a guy) and made me feel very depressed. The sadness went to the point that when it was already nighttime I suddenly woke up from my sleep and, upon hearing Josh Groban singing "Solitaire" passionately, I suddenly broke down in tears remembering the OVA. (When you consider how the lyrics of "Solitaire" have no relation to the OVA, this story does sound silly, doesn't it?)
EDIT: I gotta say that this wallpaper is almost making me cry once again.
