That looks nice, that is the style you did before ne? well it still looks nice, it has been awhile since you used those grundgy flowers ^^. I like the autumn colors too. I'm not aware of the anime, and you did a good job with the extracting of the scan. Doing that is very time consuming though >>. Good job!

Hm, the best word to describe this wallpaper is "eccentric"! ^.^ I like it, it just screams out "I don't care what you think, I'm doing it my way!" I've heard FLCL is a pretty weird anime, so I suppose it fits the theme.
A very good way to mask the artifacts of a PNG, if it's not extracted well, is to overlay some textures on it. If it doesn't work with the Box Blur + Overlay/Soft Light options, you should try this. It will also help blend the character more with the background ^^
I like the shades of orange and black! Indeed, maybe it's because of autumn ^^
Whenever I'm bored of wallpapers I vector something or just look for PNG's, and usually I get an idea when I find a good picture. A break is always good, try some random tutorials, just to find out new stuff, and you won't be bored. Wall again after a while and you'll feel better ^^ I got sick of walling at one point too.
Well, looking forward to your future wallpapers, especially since you've started making grunge ones! By the way, you can get very good patterns from Squidfingers.com, that's the site I get most of my patterns from ^_^
the textures in the BG are wonderful! i love the colors, they remind me of fall! it's my favorite season!
the scan you used is very beautiful! might not be your best work but i like it just the same^^
I love it. Autumn is awesome. The colors are great. At first, I didn't realize the guitar, but after taking a good look at it, I saw it. I love the background. It's orange, brown, black. It reminds me of Halloween. I also find the black lineart of the leaves and flowers a great touch to this wallpaper. Great job!
Awsome wallpaper Reni-chan!! Although FlCL confuses me. It makes no sense. Lol. But I think it's better off that way. Well, anyways, the wallpaper is so pretty~ Awsome job!!! ^^
