I couldn't agree more. It was the first ff that I played on the PSX. If it wasn't for IX, I prolly wouldn't have been inspired to go back and play the other two.
Actually, at the time i was playing it, it was steiner and amarant. Nowadays it's more vivi and amarant. Of course freya is pretty cool too..I love them all! Cept Eiko...she gets kind of annoying from time to time, haha ;p.
Guess its a little late to reply to this comment, but i'll do it anyway. In all reality, FFIX was the first final fantasy game i played on the PS1, so naturally i suppose it would be expected that i become fond of it. Even if now and then I hear a few FF fans say that it was probably the worst one from the 3 that came out on the sony series.
