Yeah, back in the day (very very early 80s) they would show dubbed anime at godawful in the morning on weekdays before school on independent stations. I saw old Harlock and Gatchaman along with Speed Racer that way. I also used to catch Mazinger on the Spanish channels (being bilingual helps).
