I agree! With my house we have the tradition of climbing on top of our roof (not that high/dangerous) and have a moment of silence there. The next holiday is summer holiday, which is in 7 weeks for me :) And then I'll have 8 weeks of (if I pass all my exams - otherwise retakes at the end of august) ^^

Shh don't tell anyone, but I'm from the Netherlands :) Small, densely populated country in north-west of europe ^^ THe 4th of may 'dodenherdenking' - not all people join the moment of silence - lot of people forget about it. However I think the fifth of may is celebrated pretty big, especially where I live now :)

My country have Heroes Day, but sadly it is not celebrated grandly. We should do something like your Liberation Day; everyone gathering together and offer a moment of silence for the fallen heroes. D:
Yes I did go! It's the day that my country got freed from the germans / that they signed a liberation contract (world war 2). :) The fourth of may is actually the day that remind the dead, the soldiers that fought in ww2. At eight o clock we have a two minutes of silence

I could definitely say the same about you! Your comment make me want to continue to be active on the site. I've had my periods of inactivity a lot and the last few times I've never succeeded in staying active for very long. It is also one of the reasons why I set up the comment slam challenge (starts 11th of may - link) so I have to be active. The people around me (new and old) still amaze me and I always wonder why I left.. I've also set a goal of trying to continue art even though I feel a smaller drive to draw :)

Hello, Aryia. I am so glad that you looked at my wallpapers and even left a few comments. Now you've given me a boost of happiness too. Keep working hard on your wallpapers and don't rush them. Don't let the popular challenge overtake you either. 30. Monochrome is your best so far and is really a wonder to look at. I can't wait to see more and pick out all the little nuances you add to them.
