They Actually Found Someone to Do It?
Looks like the Akira remake is actually going to happen. Word on the street is that Warner Bros. execs are talking to the Hughes Brothers (The Book of Eli) to direct the live-action version of Katsuhiro Otomo's futuristic biker action/suspense/horror flick. So far, they say it's going to say completely faithful to the manga, but we'll see. Source Link
