Stupid economy. Did anybody notice that the Naruto volumes are cheaper? And Otaku USA is cheaper too. They don't even have DVDs anymore.
I wonder if Shonen Jump will go out...I'd rather read it in volumes. The big pages are harder... o___O

Well, the only thing I know is that I'm a girl that reads predominantly shounen titles and am therefore apathetic to all this for the most part. *shrugs*

Now what they need is to test out with the unused presses is a seinin magazine. I'd buy that.

I've read a couple of the magazines that I've borrowed from the library, and I thought it was a decent magazine even though I wasn't exacally intrested in some of the article (fasion). Too bad it's going to end.

A tragedy for female comic book/manga readers in North America I say. Hopefully, they'll still have a lot of Manga titles to choose from to read in the future.

I love that magazine and have been getting it since April 2007

I buy volumes more than I buy the magazine. I hate the pink and blue ink anyways, it hurts my eyes. I hope they will still be selling the volumes, though.

But I'm still sad it's dropping out.

I saw that one coming. But it's still sad. I liked to read the ones my library got. T_T

I'm surprised that it lasted as long as it did, to tell you the truth. From the moment I saw it in all the pink-flowery-girlishness, I knew it was doomed.

I'm assuming they'll keep the Shoujo Beat title though, as you can't exactly print Ouran under a Shounen Jump insignia (Ouran being the only series out of the listed titles I actually read, for the comedy of all things).

I honestly can't say I'm surprised. When the magazine first launched, I didn't think it would last very long. It did last my entire high school career, though. Still a sad day for the US manga market.

Well at least Ouran was made into anime before this happened. Love that show! That being said, not much of a Shojo fan though it is a big blow in the world of anime. However, if Shonen Jump goes down, all hell breaks loose.
